GROWING IN GOD’S GRACE
The Christian life is a life in fellowship with Jesus and with his people, the church. The Bible never speaks of the church as a building, but as the people who are united to Jesus by faith and united to each other in him. And the goal of that union is to grow us into a people who become like him and bear the fruits of his Spirit in our lives. And it’s within the context of the church that he is working to “grow us up” in him (Eph. 4:15). Therefore, at Calvary, we are working together to grow in heart and mind through Sunday school classes, Bible studies, fellowship activities, praying for each other, and encouraging each other, with the goal that we might come to know more the God of love and reflect his love to each other and the world.
